1. General Information

Fired & Frosted is a cottage food operation registered under the Michigan Cottage Food Law. All products are made in a residential kitchen that is not inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD).

All products are sold directly to Michigan consumers only, in compliance with Michigan state law. By placing an order, you confirm that you are a Michigan resident and agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

 

2. Ordering Policy

2.1 How to Order

All orders must be placed through our official website. Orders are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis each week until the weekly cap is reached.

2.2 Weekly Order Limit

To protect product quality and ensure reliable fulfillment, Fired & Frosted limits orders to a maximum of 10 orders per week across all order types (delivery and pickup combined). Once the weekly limit is reached, ordering closes until the following week's cycle opens on Sunday.

2.3 Order Cutoff

The weekly order cutoff is Thursday at 4:00 PM. This is the hard deadline for the current week's Friday delivery and Sunday pickup. Orders placed after Thursday 4:00 PM will automatically be scheduled for the following week's cycle. No exceptions will be made.

2.4 Order Accuracy

Customers are responsible for reviewing all order details before submission. Fired & Frosted is not responsible for errors entered by the customer including incorrect addresses, product selections, or contact information.

2.5 Order Confirmation

An order is not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed. You will receive a confirmation once your order is accepted into the current week's queue.

2.6 Order Acceptance

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to: product unavailability, scheduling limitations, delivery zone restrictions, or suspected fraudulent activity. A full refund will be issued for any cancelled order.

 

3. Weekly Schedule

Our weekly operating cycle is as follows:

•       Sunday – Thursday: Orders open and accepted

•       Thursday 4:00 PM: Order cutoff — hard deadline, no exceptions

•       Friday: Delivery day — all confirmed delivery orders fulfilled

•       Saturday: Closed

•       Sunday 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM: Pickup window

 

4. Delivery Policy

4.1 Delivery Availability

Local delivery is available to verified zip codes within approximately 35 minutes of our Livonia, MI location. Delivery eligibility is determined by our zip code checker on the order page. We do not deliver outside our approved delivery zone.

4.2 Delivery Day

All deliveries are made on Fridays. No specific time windows are offered — deliveries are routed and scheduled at our discretion to maintain an efficient route. You will be notified when your order is out for delivery.

4.3 Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are based on distance from our Livonia location:

•       Close zone (~15 minutes): $5.00 delivery fee

•       Extended zone (~35 minutes): $10.00 delivery fee

Fees are displayed before checkout based on your entered zip code. A minimum order total may apply.

4.4 Delivery Completion

Orders may be delivered in person or as a secure leave-at-door drop-off. Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery instructions and ensuring a safe, accessible drop-off location. Fired & Frosted is not responsible for orders left unattended after successful delivery.

4.5 No Shipping

Fired & Frosted does not offer shipping at this time. All orders are fulfilled through local delivery or in-person pickup only, in compliance with Michigan Cottage Food Law.

 

5. Pickup Policy

5.1 Pickup Location

Pickup orders are fulfilled at a private location shared only after order confirmation. Exact pickup details will be sent to you via the email or phone number provided at checkout.

5.2 Pickup Window

Pickup is available every Sunday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Orders not collected within this window without prior notice are not eligible for a refund due to the perishable nature of baked goods.

5.3 Missed Pickup

If you are unable to make your scheduled pickup, contact us as soon as possible at (765) 327-5518. We will do our best to accommodate you but cannot guarantee alternative arrangements.

5.4 Plymouth Farmers Market

Fired & Frosted operates under the Rolling Scones tent at the Plymouth Farmers Market (640 Starkweather St, Plymouth, MI 48170) on Saturdays. Market attendance is separate from our weekly online order cycle. Online orders are not fulfilled at the market unless specifically arranged in advance.

 

6. Payment Policy

6.1 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure online checkout. Zelle payments are also accepted where indicated. Payment is collected in full at the time of order.

6.2 Pricing

All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. The price displayed at the time of checkout is the final price for that order.

6.3 Sales Tax

Baked goods and other cottage food products are not subject to Michigan sales tax. The only additional fees applied to your order will be delivery fees where applicable, based on your delivery zone.

6.4 Secure Checkout

All payment information is processed securely through our payment provider. Fired & Frosted does not store, access, or retain any payment card information.

 

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy

7.1 Cancellations

Orders cancelled within 4 hours of purchase are eligible for a full refund. After 4 hours, ingredients and preparation may have begun and refunds are no longer available, except where Fired & Frosted is unable to fulfill the order.

7.2 Refunds

Due to the perishable nature of baked goods, refunds are not available for taste preference, missed pickups without prior notice, or improper storage after pickup or delivery. Refunds will be issued in full for any order we are unable to fulfill.

7.3 Order Issues

If there is a problem with your order, contact us within 8 hours of pickup or delivery at GreatLakesNaturalGroup@outlook.com or (765) 327-5518. We take every concern seriously and will do our best to make it right.

 

8. Allergen & Food Safety Disclosure

Fired & Frosted specializes in gluten-free baked goods. However, please read the following carefully:

•       Our products are made in a home residential kitchen that is not a certified allergen-free facility.

•       Our kitchen may also process dairy, eggs, tree nuts, and soy.

•       While we take careful steps to maintain a clean and organized preparation space, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of trace allergens or cross-contamination.

•       Customers with severe allergies are strongly advised to contact us before ordering.

IMPORTANT: This product is made in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

 

9. Intellectual Property

All website content including logos, branding, product names, descriptions, photography, and designs is the exclusive property of Fired & Frosted and Great Lakes Natural Group LLC. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any content is strictly prohibited.

 

10. Acceptable Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to:

•       Engage in fraudulent, harmful, or deceptive activity

•       Attempt to disrupt or compromise website functionality or security

•       Copy, scrape, or misuse any website content or materials

•       Attempt to circumvent the weekly order cap or other order controls

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for any violatio
